CIPD Level 5 Learning and Development qualification

With a CIPD qualification, you’ll have the ability to demonstrate your skills in L&D to employers which can help you stand out among other applicants.

As well, a learning and development qualification could help you earn more money. When you are CIPD Level 3 qualified, for example, and working as an assistant, you could earn £10,000 more than someone without that certificate.

With a higher-level qualification and a role as an L&D manager or director, that salary could be upwards of £60,000.

This course is ideal if you're aspiring to, or are taking the next steps in your career in learning and development:

  • Ideally an existing Foundation qualification (or equivalent) is desirable; alternatively, relevant work experience can be considered

You need to have some knowledge of HR and the organisation, but the focus Is Learning and Development, so you do need to be working in a Learning and Developing environment.

It really depends on your own career goals. If you want to specialise in HR or be a HR generalist, then the Associate Diploma in People Management is for you. If you are more interested in Learning and Development activities, then the Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning and Development is for you.
